This Privacy Policy explains what UnPlated, operated by KHAN Family Holdings LLC ("we," "us," "our"), collects and how we use it when you use our website at unplated.app and our services (the "Services"). If you don't agree with this policy, please don't use the Services.
To provide and personalize UnPlated, process your subscription, communicate with you (such as account and service emails), keep the Services secure and prevent fraud, and improve the product. We process your information only when we have a valid legal reason to do so.
To generate results, the menu or recipe content you submit is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic's Claude API) to produce your suggestions. It is processed to return your result, not to publicly identify you.
We use trusted providers to run UnPlated — for example Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI processing), our email provider, our menu-retrieval provider, and our hosting/infrastructure. We share only what's needed for them to do their job, under contracts designed to protect your information. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, sale, or acquisition of our business.
Depending on where you live (including US states such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia and others, and the EU/UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. You can access or update your information in the app, and you can ask us to delete your account and personal data by emailing hello@unplated.app or using our contact form. We honor applicable requests in accordance with the law.
We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to run the Services, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes; then we delete or anonymize it.
UnPlated is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at hello@unplated.app.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
